The Enchanted Forest has been the location for private, beautifully-orchestrated weddings and special celebrations for almost a decade, and yet we are still one of San Diego County’s best-kept secrets. Our philosophy is perhaps the reason.  It's quite different from commercial venues.  We do not seek volume,
but rather couples who recognize the jewel they have discovered and share our vision and passion. Most are also pleasantly surprised by the value they receive with our packages. (The Enchanted Forest is featured in

This private estate is home to the owners, who lovingly offer their beautiful site to just a few couples each season. And because there are so few, each event is treated as though it were their own family member getting married, with the attention to detail, anticipation and joy that comes with planning a wedding.

There are so many beautiful parts to the estate that lend themselves to different “feels”.  The Castle, of course, is a big part of the magic of the place, offering a beautiful spot for the bridal party to dress, and a fairytale backdrop for amazing photos.  Then there's the stone bridge  with the waterfalls in the background, also a favorite site for photos.  The groomsmen are often photographed by one of the large iron gates at the dragon entrance.

The gardens, the swans, the cascading ponds, the secret garden with its own gazebo, the two grand staircases - all of the charming old world architecture that is The Enchanted Forest - creates an atmosphere unlike any other.   Nighttime is dazzling and we often hear people use words like magical, fairytale, Disney-like. The best part...it's your uninterrupted private world for eight hours.

Because it's their passion and the reason for doing weddings, those who take care of you from the day you book until the very last dance,  are driven to giving you a perfect event.  Continuity of personnel is important and our staff has been with us for years.  Every nuance of the venue is known to each staff member. Comments at the end of each event are the reward we seek.

The vendors recommended by the venue are among the most skilled in their field, and have performed services at the venue for many seasons assuring you of a consistently well-run event. Our caterer provides outstanding food and service and our couples enjoy a private tasting of their selected menu. Overseeing it all  is our wedding coordinator, whose services are included with every wedding package.

General Information:

Wedding season is mid-May through October
Our minimum guest count is 100 for the Camelot Package
Maximum capacity is 200.
Camelot package ceremonies begin at 2:00 p.m.- 4:30 p.m. 

Secret Garden and Twilight Garden packages are maximum of 60
(no minimum required)
Secret Garden ceremonies begin at 2:00 p.m.
Twilight Garden ceremonies begin at 5:00 p.m.
The venue serves beer, wine and champagne.  No hard alcohol.
Children are limited to those in the wedding party-
Maximum of 4 children in the Camelot package
Two children in the Secret Garden/Twilight Garden packages.
Tours are by appointment only.
