Initial consultation-
When you tour the venue you will be met by our
coordinator who will show you the venue and then discuss with you your vision of
your wedding day, and answer questions.
Make vendor recommendations and provide contact information-
You can be confident that the vendors recommended by the venue
are among the best in their field and have worked with us many times.
Act as liaison between all of your vendors and the venue-
You have enough on your mind. We will confirm your orders,
your requests, arrival times, and all details necessary to insure a good outcome.
Planning Meeting at the Venue with the Bride and Groom-
Two to three months prior to your wedding date Carol will sit down
with the couple at the venue and go through the day, detail by detail, so
there are no surprises on wedding day. Things you probably have not even thought of
will be discussed and put into effect.
Create a Time Line of your Wedding Day-
After the planning meeting, you will receive a detailed memo of
all that was discussed and decided upon, along with a time line for your entire
day at the venue. Your photographer, videographer, DJ, caterer, etc. will
all receive a copy of the timeline, thereby insuring that everyone knows how the
day is to be played out.
Rehearsal-
Your coordinator will conduct rehearsal with the
bridal party and all those included in the ceremony including processional,
recessional, introduction. Wedding day instructions will be given to everyone
and any final details will be confirmed.
Something we do at this venue is to encourage you to bring
all decor items, etc. to the venue on rehearsal night. The bride and
attendants are encouraged to bring their dresses and leave them in the castle,
allowing the dresses to hang out of the bags overnight. Having to
remember to bring everything on wedding day just adds to the stress of getting
everyone to the venue on time! |
Wedding Day-
Preparation for your wedding begins early in the day,
and your coordinator is on site hours before you arrive to oversee the set up of
everything from table and chairs to the smallest decorator item.
When you arrive at the venue, you will prepare for the day in
the privacy of the castle in an unhurried atmosphere, while staff takes care of
everything else, leaving you to think only about getting married.
Your
coordinator will be hands-on throughout the entire day, tending to the needs of
your guests, your vendors, and most importantly, YOU! Your timeline will
be the guide for the day, and we will be flexible where needed. There are no hard and fast rules on when to cut the
cake, etc. The only rule we cannot change is the end of event time.
Wedding Planning Booklet-
The Enchanted Forest has prepared a helpful tool in preparing for a
wedding at this venue. We have taken all of the most commonly asked
questions and put them into a booklet, along with lots of helpful tips and
suggestions and each couple is presented with one at the time of booking the
venue. Together with the help of our coordinator, you will have everything
needed to plan a beautiful and memorable wedding.
The above services included in the package equal 15 hours of
the coordinator's time.
