Venue Policies

Please read all of this information before scheduling an appointment to be sure our policies do not conflict with plans for your event.

Hours: The venue is yours for an eight-hour day.  Two 1/2 hours prior to ceremony for dressing and photos and 5 1/2 hours for ceremony and reception.  Ceremonies may start as early as 2:00 and no later than 4:30.  All events must conclude by 10:00 p.m. in accordance with county noise abatement rules.

Cake and Food Service:  Food and cake service is provided by our approved caterer and bakery and outside food is not permitted. Cake cutting service is included.

Liability:  Clients will be responsible for any and all damages to the venue caused by clients and/or their guests.  A $1000 security deposit is required and is returned within  7 days after the wedding provided no additional costs or services are incurred and there has been no damage to the property.  Unusual service requests may incur a higher security deposit.  Bringing alcohol onto the premises will jeopardize the return of the security deposit.  The venue is not responsible for any damage or loss to items belonging to clients or their guests during or after an event.

Children:  The estate was designed and built with adults in mind.  It has many areas that are tempting and dangerous to children.  For these reasons we must limit children to those who are members of the wedding party. Four children may be included in the wedding party for Camelot weddings and two for Secret Garden events.  Children attending as guests outside of the wedding party are not permitted. Children are defined as walking through age 13.

Alcohol: We believe that alcohol should not  be the focus of your wedding.  Our policy limits consumption and we monitor underage drinking, outside alcohol being brought onto the premises and do our very best to insure that your wedding is not spoiled by over-indulging at the bar.  Beer, wine and champagne are served.  No hard alcohol is permitted. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone or to close the bar at any time if, in our opinion, there is an abuse of alcohol taking place.  Alcohol service will be stopped thirty minutes prior to the end of the event.  If you believe free-flowing alcohol is necessary to the success of your event, our venue won’t meet your needs.

Number Guarantee:  Though our package is based on 125 people, you may have as few as 80 for the Camelot package, Saturdays included.  Should your guest list, including all bridal party members and any children, total less than 80, the minimum will still apply.  Final guest count is due 14 days prior to your event and is a final guarantee that cannot be reduced.
